The MBIQ-P for Shimano EP8 / DU-EP800 / RS mid-engines is a plug-in solution with very small installation space. The existing speed sensor can be plugged in directly. The tuning has the same connectors as the existing sensor line, so it can be easily inserted between speed sensor and motor control to remove the speed limit.
It is compatible with the common motor imwares of the manufacturers and works microcontrollers based.
The current speed profile is analyzed, processed and output manipulated values when tuning is activated.

The functionality can be reprogrammed after installation without additional devices.
- Mode 1: Tuning permanently activated (permanent engine support).
- Mode 2: Tuning permanently deactivated (engine support up to 25 km/h).
- Mode 3: Tuning according to switch-on condition (via magnet, can be deactivated while driving!)

Compatible with the common engine firmware of the manufacturers. The manipulated values do not affect the evaluation of the engine software.
Highly integrated electronic
Thanks to the highly integrated electronics, tuning takes place in the smallest installation space. No additional power supply/battery is required for operation.

Functional principle:
The current speed profile is analyzed, processed and output manipulated values when tuning is activated. As a result, the speed display when driving >25 km/h on the display at approx. 20 km/h (depending on model) almost „freeze“. There is no speed halving (as with other products).
